That Which I Speak....

I found this really interesting.Most of what I can say is, I want equal rights.That isn't "special" rights as many claim.I can not give less of a shit if you call it a civil union or marriage so long as I'm granted the EXACT same legal rights that marriage grants any heterosexual couple.Maybe thats to "close" for people like Palin but I don't give a hoot.

As an American I'm sup. to have equal rights correct?Of course we all know thats not truly how our Country is ran at all.Its all based on race,sexuality,religious background,your income.I'm not granted the same rights as everyone else simply because I am gay.In most states I could be fired from a job or refused a job simply because I am gay.Its legal, does that sound like equal to you?Of course its not.

I want the whole deal.I'm entitled as an American.I should be able to wed the one I love.I should have access to the full rights and benefits that committed heterosexual couples have access to.I'm talking about being being able to see my lover in the hospital,access to insurance as a partner,tax benefits,etc.You're getting the idea I hope.

If you want to go into marriage is about having children,then please I want to see any heterosexuals who can not produce a child naturally denied the right to be married period.You say its about having kids after all...then it should be that way correct?Can't have children can't be married.

It doesn't seem fair right?Other countries have had it for years..why can't we?What are you all so scared of?Gay couples can adopt in some states, but you'd rather they not have children.You fear they will raise them "gay" or molest them.These matters are utter nonsense.You can't raise a child gay.There is always a chance a child will be gay.Do straight couples only have straight children?Of course not!USE YOUR MINDS PEOPLE.As for molestation....I have no idea where the idea that a gay person male or female would ever molest a child.That would be in the hands of Pedophiles,which can be straight,gay,and bisexual.(Its famously seen in the Catholic Church so your religious morals flies out the window)

My thing, You don't have to like it,enjoy it,or even talk about it.But I should have my RIGHT to do anything as any heterosexual person has.Don't say I rub my "gayness" in your face.After all you flaunt straightness all in my face daily.The kissing,the hand holding,etc,etc.Its only fair right...
